92-93 Points | International Wine Cellar , March/April 2012

Bright yellow-gold.  Smoky, assertive aromas of tangerine, pear and spicy oak.  Sweet, smooth and harmonious, with intense citrus fruit, honeysuckle and hazelnut flavors.  Quite rich but by no means weighty--in fact, this wine is downright lithe.  Finishes stony, bright and very long.  One-third of this wine was raised in new barriques.
