Bright ruby-red. Good lift to the fruit-driven aromas of plum and blackberry. Supple and lively in the mouth, showing a restrained sweetness and harmonious acidity to the blackberry, violet and licorice flavors. Still a bit of an herbal edge on the finish, but this very young wine needs some time in bottle.
