90? Points | International Wine Cellar , January 2012

Good full ruby.  Cassis, licorice and bitter chocolate on the nose, with a strong element of coconutty oak.  Creamy in the mouth, offering strong, weighty fruit and an almost exotic sweetness.  Comes across as rather heavily extracted, and very sweet and oaky on the back end.  This impressively dense, outsized wine shows good underlying minerality but was a bit extreme for this taster.
