91 Points | International Wine Cellar , March/April 2012

Inky violet color.  A complex bouquet evokes cassis, cherry-cola, olive and smoked meat, with a sexy floral quality gaining power with air.  The palate offers deeply pitched dark berry and bitter cherry flavors lifted by notes of candied licorice and violet.  Sweet and penetrating on the gently tannic finish, with lingering smoke and floral notes. There's plenty of material for aging here but I suspect that this wine will be enjoyable within the next few years.
