Style: Red Wine

Region: Burgundy
Appellation: Cote de Beaune
89 Points | International Wine Cellar , March/April 2013
Good bright, medium red. Black cherry, violet and a suggestion of almost metallic minerality on the nose, with hints of leather and game emerging with air. Moderately chewy and sweet on entry, then a bit tougher on the back half, showing a lightly peppery quality to its flavors of black cherry, crushed stone and leather. The tannins are a tad dry-edged. Can't match the two Savigny-les-Beaune bottlings for sheer sex appeal.
