About Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin
Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin was founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot-Muiron, but it was his daughter-in-law, Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin who would catapult it to greatness. The empire that Madam Clicquot built now includes 360 hectares of vines, including 12 of the 17 Grand Crus in Champagne.

(62% pinot noir, 30% chardonnay and 8% pinot meunier; LLRAWB 00589): Light, bright gold. Ripe citrus fruits, pear, honeysuckle and minerals on the nose, with a touch of vanilla adding depth. Juicy, penetrating orchard and citrus fruit flavors show very good depth and become spicier with air. Closes sappy and long, with lasting ginger and floral nuances.
