(a blend of 60% cabernet sauvignon, 15% malbec, 10% each merlot and cabernet franc and 5% petit verdot; 40-day maceration): Ruby-red. Blackberry, licorice and sexy oak tones on the expressive nose and palate. Juicy, suave and fine-grained, with an almost confectionery sweetness nicely leavened by harmonious acidity. Finishes with a broad dusting of tannins and excellent persistence.

A great wine - bravo Susana!

My prior experience with the Mendoza region has been mixed - but this set a new high! Great bouquet and full bodied taste right out the bottle. It improved as the wine opened up over the next 2 to 3 hours, retaining the spicy tannins, but also smoothing out and becoming more silky. Great finish and persistence.
