Inky ruby.  An explosively perfumed bouquet displays scents of spicy red and dark berries, olive tapenade, pipe tobacco, iodine and minerals.  Spicy blackberry, cassis and bitter chocolate are complicated by hints of violet pastille and smoky Indian spices.  Gains weight with air but maintains vivacity on the long, juicy and youthfully tannic finish.
