Bright pink.  Powerful aromas of dried red berries, cherry pit and anise, perked up by a zesty note of white pepper.  Dry and linear, with potent cherry and blood orange flavors and a deep licorice nuance.  Finishes firm and dry, with excellent clarity and grip.  This wine is a classic rendition of Tavel and would be great with any lighter dish that incorporates plenty of herbs and garlic.
