(one-third each grenache, syrah and mourvedre):  Bright ruby.  Smoky, pungent aromas of dark berries and cherry pit, with a hint of licorice.  Sappy and focused, offering slightly bitter dark fruit flavors lifted by juicy acidity.  Closes with good energy and grip, leaving a peppery note behind.
