(sangiovese, pugnitello and colorino):  Bright red.  Wild aromas of red cherry, raspberry, cola and loam, with a complicating note of spicy tobacco.  Bright and juicy in the mouth, with a firm edge of acidity giving the wine an almost tart character.  Turns more floral as it opens in the glass.  Simple and easygoing, this is everything an everyday Chianti ought to be.
