90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - July/August 2012

Bright ruby-red.  A fragrant, complex bouquet evokes cherry-cola, dark berries, anise and Asian spices.  Supple and gently sweet on entry, then firmer in the middle, offering sweet dark fruit flavors and a strong spicecake quality.  Finishes bright and long, with lingering spiciness and a touch of bitter cherry.  Boasts very good energy for a wine from a ripe vintage.
