(14.5% alcohol): Dark ruby. Red- and blackcurrant, cedar, graphite and menthol on the nose. Ripe but rather clenched flavors of blackcurrant and spicy oak show a restrained sweetness but only moderate flesh. Finishes with chocolatey, oak-influenced tannins and a soft, high-pH mouthfeel. Not the most refined cabernet sauvignon you'll ever taste, but a very good wine nonetheless.
