Inky ruby.  Exotic aromas of red and dark berry preserves, black olive, anise and violet, with a bright mineral overtone.  Deep, sappy black raspberry and cassis flavors show excellent clarity and energy.  A smoky mineral note comes up on the finish, which is long, sweet and sharply focused.
