(15.8% alcohol):  Moderately saturated bright red.  Lively aromas of blackberry, licorice, mint and black pepper.  Juicy, intense and penetrating, with good peppery energy and inner-mouth perfume to the black fruit flavors.  Finishes with firm but pliant tannins and a hint of orange peel.  An aromatic, rather fine style of zinfandel that nicely hides its high alcohol and offers immediate appeal.
