About Maison Chapoutier
Maison Chapoutier, the first négociant and producer to mark their bottlings with braille, was established in 1879 by Polydor Chapoutier. The business has remained family owned since then and is now run by Michel Chapoutier. His hands off approach to winemaking has lead to a resurgence in quality at Maison Chapoutier, which now produces some of the finest wines in the Rhone region of France.

90-92 Points | International Wine Cellar , March/April 2013
Bright gold. Complex, highly fragrant aromas of pit fruits, melon and orange zest, with musky floral and mineral qualities gaining strength with air. Lush and expansive on the palate, offering intense, surprisingly well-defined citrus and pit fruit flavors lifted by chalky minerality. Very precise for its richness. At once powerful and vibrant, with excellent finishing clarity and a lingering note of honeysuckle.
