Bright, full red. Nuanced, scented nose combines raspberry, redcurrant, tobacco and sweet spices. Suave, juicy and complex, with harmonious acidity giving shape and freshness to the wine's concentrated plum, tobacco and herb flavors. Finishes savory and minerally, with substantial but smooth tannins and lovely lingering perfume. A big success for the vintage.
