(40% merlot and 30% each cabernet sauvignon and malbec; aged for 18 months in new French oak; concentrated via a 30% saignee):  Good bright ruby-red.  Blackcurrant, minerals and menthol on the nose.  Dense and sweet but youthfully imploded, conveying an impression of strong extraction and superb energy.  This began chewy and quite tannic but grew richer as it opened in the glass, showing a more pliant texture and more obvious depth.  Very long and lively on the aftertaste.
