Bright medium red.  Aromas and flavors of redcurrant, cherry, spiced plum, menthol and smoky oak reminded me a bit of pinot noir.  Juicy and pure in the mouth, with good cut and intensity and subtle floral perfume.  Tangy, moderately intense malbec with harmonious acidity and easygoing tannins.  On the light side and very easy to drink.
