(100% petite serine):  Bright purple.  Powerful cherry-cola and black raspberry aromas are complemented by smoky herb, olive and floral nuances.  Sappy, alluringly sweet dark fruit liqueur flavors are firmed by a bitter licorice quality and pick up mineral and pepper notes with aeration.  Acts a lot like a Cote-Rotie, and a very good one at that, finishing with excellent clarity and mineral-driven persistence.
