(from a vineyard near Coombsville that dates back to 1905):  Bright dark red.  Aromas of blackberry, black cherry and licorice are perfumed by a hint of exotic fruits.  Rich, plush and sweet, with terrific breadth and depth to its strawberry and licorice flavors.  Finishes very long, with suave, fine-grained tannins and a lovely light touch.  Utterly captivating zinfandel.
