Bright ruby-red.  Heady aromas of red fruit preserves, Asian spices and fresh flowers, with subtle cola and smoke accents.  Juicy and energetic on the palate, offering zesty raspberry and cherry flavors and notes of spicecake and rose pastille.  I like this wine's tension.  Fine-grained tannins give shape and grip to the long, penetrating finish.  This wine should age well on its balance.
