89-91 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - January 2012

(100% grenache):  Glass-staining purple.  Perfumed aromas of candied red berries, cherry compote and rose, with a musky herbal nuance adding complexity.  Sweet and broad, with sappy red and dark fruit preserve flavors.  This surprisingly accessible Cotes du Rhone offers an appealing blend of richness and energy and finishes with very good sappy intensity.
