Ruby-red.  Pungent aromas of dark cherry, cassis and minerals, plus a bright floral quality.  Thick and powerful if a bit youthfully tight, offering chewy flavors of cassis, bitter chocolate and licorice.  Finishes with firm tannins and good focus and grip.
