(90% shiraz and 10% mourvedre):  Bright ruby.  Sexy, oak-spiced aromas of black raspberry and violet, with subtle woodsmoke and licorice nuances adding complexity.  Deep and sappy but lively, offering intense red and dark berry flavors and a supple texture.  Soft tannins add shape to a long, focused and emphatically fruity finish.  This wine is very enjoyable right now but has the depth to age.
