Medium red. Pungent, musky aromas of raspberry, red licorice, mint and spices. Juicy and savory on the palate, with a minty streak and intriguing soil notes to the strawberry and raspberry flavors. Conveys an almost salty impression and finishes with a distinct spearmint note. Will this youthfully edgy wine expand with a couple years of bottle age?
