Inky ruby.  Deeply pitched aromas of black and blue fruits, smoky minerals, licorice and roasted coffee, with a floral quality adding lift.  Broad, palate-coating blackberry and bitter cherry flavors gain flesh and sweetness with air.  At once rich and lively, finishing with strong back-end thrust and supple tannins that add shape.
