Bright ruby-red.  Ripe raspberry and cherry aromas are deepened by notes of anise and mocha.  Pliant, palate-coating red and dark berry flavors show very good depth and pick up a smoky accent with air.  Rich but lively, with strong finishing thrust and persistent spiciness.
