Vivid ruby-red.  High-pitched aromas of raspberry, cherry and fresh rose, with complicating notes of allspice and licorice.  Juicy and seamless on the palate, offering sweet red fruit flavors that put on weight with air.  Smooth and broad on the finish, which features attractive floral pastille and fruitcake qualities.  This wine is very approachable now.
