Bright purple.  Aromas of candied dark berries, cola and violet, with smoke and cracked pepper accents adding appeal.  Bright and energetic on the palate, offering sappy black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors deepened by a note of candied licorice.  Finishes smoky and subtly sweet, with fine-grained tannins adding shape and gentle grip.
