93(+?) Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - March/April 2013

Inky purple.  Pungent, smoke- and spice-accented aromas of blueberry and cassis, violet and black olive.  Lush and expansive, offering palate-coating dark fruit liqueur flavors that are lifted by gentle acidity.  Becomes sweeter and deeper with air and finishes with chewy tannins and a lingering smokiness.  This wine is a baby.
