Bright ruby. Spicy, seductively perfumed bouquet of ripe red and dark berries, potpourri and white pepper. Energetic, sharply focused cassis and bitter cherry on the palate, with suave spicecake and floral pastille notes building with air. Closes sweet and long, with resonating spiciness and silky tannins. These vines were reportedly planted sometime in the late 19th century.
