(60% grenache and 40% syrah, raised completely in concrete):  Inky purple.  Ripe, smoke-accented aromas of blackberry and cherry, with a hint of cracked pepper adding lift.  Seamless, deeply pitched dark fruit flavors gain energy and spiciness with air.  Finishes with very good energy and bite, the spicy note repeating.
