(from the lowest of the estate's vineyards; picked last in 2010, on November 1 and 2): Good medium ruby. Musky aromas of redcurrant, tobacco, licorice and mocha. A sweet, fine-grained midweight with a distinctly gravelly taste of redcurrant and loam. Nicely integrated acidity and substantial building tannins give this wine a serious structural underpinning.
