About Raptor Ridge Winery

If you come to Raptor Ridge hoping to find a fossil between the rows of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, you’ll be sorely disappointed. The estate gets its name from the many birds of prey native to the area—red tailed hawks, kestrels, owls and more. In addition to the birds, you’ll also find elegant, structured Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Gruner Veltliner.

Bright ruby-red.  Dark berries and vanilla on the nose and palate.  Lush, palate-coating and smoky, with very good depth and a touch of finishing warmth.  This rich, pliant pinot is already drinking very well but has the concentration to age further.
