Great value for the right notes.

On July 4, 2013 I twice decanted a 750 ml bottle wine which had been stored in my cellar for 10 months, then I served it about 2 hours later. It was enjoyed by 6 of us who all agreed it:
1. Was elegant (a perfect balance of grapes and wood) and silky smooth yet complex.
2. Had a long and unforgettable finish.
Due to production from relatively young wines, this wine must be decanted and allowed to breath before drinking. It is unlikely this wine will be appreciated if it is poured without decanting.
good value @ 20.00
Italy, like France, offers a world of wine styles within a single country: dry
Italian white wines ranging from lively and minerally to powerful and full-bodied; cheap
and cheerful Italian red wines in both a cooler, northern style and a richer, warmer southern
style; structured, powerful reds capable of long aging in bottle; sparkling wines;
sweet wines and dessert wines.
