Full red.  Intensely perfumed aromas of candied cherry, blackberry and cola, with a smoky topnote.  At once ripe and energetic, with intense dark berry flavors giving way to livelier red fruits with air.  Silky tannins add shape and grip to the long, spice-accented finish.  Shows the richness of the vintage but there's nothing heavy about this pinot.
