(cabernet sauvignon with 12% cab franc): Good ruby-red color. Black cherry and licorice on the nose. Sweet and dense but medicinal and a bit clenched today, with dominant flavors of black cherry and dark chocolate. Boasts good texture but a hint of greenness limited my enthusiasm. Finishes with slightly drying tannins and good length.
