(mainly sangiovese and colorino):  Dark ruby-red.  Dark berries, plum, mocha, smoke and sweet pipe tobacco on the nose.  Supple, sweet and seamless, with plum, sweet coffee and loam flavors dominating.  Finishes with soft tannins and good length.  A very well-made wine but one that conveys little sense of place.
