Full ruby. A complex, smoke-accented bouquet evokes dark berries, cherry pit, minerals and dried flowers. Taut and precise on the palate, offering lively bitter cherry and blackberry flavors lifted by gentle acidity. Turns sweeter on the long finish, displaying intense violet and spicecake qualities. This wine benefits quite a bit from decanting.
