About Chateau Fuisse

Founded in 1604 in Fuisse, the eponymous chateau has extended its holdings throughout the years to include 80 acres of of Chardonnay vines throughout Pouilly-Fuisse, Saint Veran, Macon-Villages and Macon-Fuissé. The domaine has belonged to the Vincent family since 1862.

Bright ruby-red.  Vibrant red and dark berry aromas and flavors are complemented by deeper licorice and black tea nuances.  Spicy and tight on the palate, offering fresh black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors and a firm mineral spine.  Finishes clean and taut, leaving spice and mineral notes behind.

Made from the Gamay grape, the red wines of Beaujolais are mostly exuberantly fruity and brisk wines that are often served lightly chilled for added refreshment.
