Bright ruby-red.  Aromas of cassis, plum, mocha, menthol, licorice and fresh herbs suggest a wide range of ripeness.  Subtly sweet and supple in the mouth, with good herbal lift and intensity to the currant, chocolate and licorice flavors.  Finishes with rather serious tannins that turned a bit dry with air.
