About Turley Wine Cellars
When it comes to California Zinfandels, Larry Turley is the master. His are huge, exotic reds that often have head-spinning alcohol and a bit of residual sugar, but at their core, are really showcases for the rich, ripe, old-vine fruit...

(16.1% alcohol; from a crop level around 1.5 tons per acre, according to Jordan): Medium ruby. Aromas of kirsch, blackberry and gunflint. A juicy, extremely primary infant, with urgent, very intense crushed berry flavors dominating. Offers compelling fruit sweetness, and the superb whiplash of a finish, featuring serious but fully ripe tannins, suggests that this will reward cellaring.
