85-88 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - April 2012

Rather inexpressive nose hints at violet and blackberry.  Similarly closed and tight on the palate, hinting at moderately intense black fruit and mineral flavors.  Finishes with youthfully chewy tannins and average length.  I usually find Gloria to be one of the best buys in Bordeaux, but this young 2011 is disappointing. Hopefully, it will improve with time and my score will eventually look ungenerous.
