About Martinelli Vineyards

Martinelli Winery is truly a creation born out of love. Founders Giuseppe and Luisa Martinelli eloped from their native Tuscany in 1895, with little more than their knowledge of winemaking, and set out to make a life in the new world. Over a century later, we can safely say that they succeeded.

Bright ruby.  Explosively perfumed, highly complex nose displays an array of dark berry and floral scents, along with notes of candied flowers, anise and cracked pepper.  On the palate, intense blackberry and bitter cherry flavors are complemented by suggestions of five-spice powder and licorice candy.  Refuses to let go on the finish, where the spice and floral qualities strongly repeat.
