(all Wente clones): Green-tinged yellow. Captivating, rather Burgundian aromas of lemon cream, flowers, minerals and iodine. Intensely flavored and firmly built, with brisk acidity framing the sappy flavors of lemon cream, underripe pineapple and green tropical fruits. Energetic, tactile wine with lovely lingering perfume and a light touch. This may well merit an even higher score with a couple years of additional time in bottle.
