Good saturated ruby-red. Oak-dominated aromas of redcurrant and black plum, with a complicating mineral note. Enters dense and juicy, but the black fruit graphite and oaky flavors are currently cut off by mounting tough tannins. Finishes moderately long and austere. I like this wine's purity, but will the fruit last long enough for the oak to soften?
