Dark ruby-red.  Perfumed, minerally aromas of blackcurrant and violet.  Fresh, juicy and pure, with mineral-driven black fruit flavors complicated by a whiplash of cigar box and smoked beef at the back. Finishes quite persistent but a tad austere.  Those finishing tannins worry me a bit, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt today.
