90-92 Points | International Wine Cellar , April 2012

(85% merlot, 12% cabernet franc and 3% cabernet sauvignon):  Fully saturated inky purple.  Reticent nose hint at cassis, cedar, vanilla and minerals.  Rich, smooth and dense on the palate, with a syrupy quality to the blackberry, mocha  and sweet spice flavors.  Finishes long and dense, with ripe tannins and a hint of mocha.  This wine also seems much less extracted to me than some recent vintages.  Very well done.
