Opaque ruby-purple.  Bright, fruit-driven aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry and coffee.  Enters the mouth broad and sweet, then dense black fruit flavors turn more austere on the back.  Finishes with a lingering cassis quality, solid tannins and a juicy quality.  Well done.
